Hello Tuesday everyone! Not much on my mind this morning, but it's nice as the sun rises to hear birds singing again. Today will be an outdoor day and I'm going to to put some disposable gloves on and pick up trash from the alley behind our cottage. The winds blew a lot of trash and it's stuck on the fences so more spring clean up today for me and then back to stitching "Gypsy Firefly". Wishing you all a good day with however it unfolds for you!

Hey stitching friends! I was just curious....do y'all have a "designated" stitching area?! Or do you wander from place to place? This is my space I made in my bedroom. I've got an old dresser to hold all my stitching stuff, a nice cozy chair, great lighting, and of course, as you can see from the pict, Benny 🐾💓 I also have a chair downstairs in our den that I've claimed as MINE! I watch my games and stitch downstairs. I guess I am a cross stitching wander-er!! How 'bout you??!! 🧵🧵🧵

I can't hold it in any longer. That 2022 Santa is so bad in so many ways! Start at the top...Artic lights? Really? The Northern Lights are not on a string. Santa's holding a Puffin. They live near the ocean on cliffs (I think) and not on land or ice flows closer to the North Pole. The real North Pole, Alaska is adjacent to the border dividing the USA from Canada. Next, ...penguins!?!? Really? Penguins are native to Antartica, the Gallapagos islands, and South Africa. NOT the Artic. I doubt I will purchase this abomination! And someone needs to educate Prairie Schooler.

Was at my Heart Doctor''s ffice yesterday. It's a small waiting room - 5 chairs, spaced of course. I pushed open the door and immediately a handsome young gentleman (25 - 30) wearing a beautiful blue turban and matching mask , stood and motioned me to his chair. I said it's okay , my walker opens to a seat. He shook his head and insisted. I was so impressed. I feel at times that good manners are a thing of the past. Diane

Some managed to survive the cold!

Trying to get some weeds pulled out of the mud (we no longer have dirt) put my hand on top of the gate to open it and some little *’¥£§*&$ stung me. It’s okay, it won’t (God forbid) effect my ability to stitch…I can take a hint… Nest update… Today, daddy is taking care of the nest. Robins are apparently more skittish than morning doves…every time I open the door they leave, then I feel bad…

Finding my Bohin that disappeared yesterday.🤗 This Tuesday has a Sunday feel about it.🤔

I need a piece of fabric 50"x50". When I order a 2 yard quantity, can it be one piece or are they cut as separate yards?

Has anyone completed this pattern? I recently finished the Portrait of Father Christmas - quite an undertaking!! Looking for a new project, and this appeals to me, but seems to be just as large an undertaking - I do like the picture, but don't want to put all the time into it to display for only a month or so in the Fall!! Has anyone done this one - I'm looking for some encouragement on how it turns out!
