RTD marks 20th anniversary of Central Platte Valley service
Twenty years ago, RTD celebrated the grand opening of the Central Platte Valley (CPV) light rail extension (C Line). The 1.8-mile segment, which opened April 5, 2002, from Colfax Avenue to Union Station, would eventually include the E Line in 2006 and the W Line in 2013.
RTD launches new systemwide fare study and equity analysis
Today, RTD announced the public launch of the systemwide fare study and equity analysis and initiated customer and community engagement. Leading with equity, RTD will be examining its fares and exploring changes to its fare structure and pass programs to make using bus and rail service more equitable, simple and affordable for the over 3 million people in RTD’s service area.

RTD concluded the comment period for the draft System Optimization Plan (SOP) on March 9.
