3/4/22 Update
The federal government is no longer requiring masks to be worn on school buses. Beginning Friday, March 4, masks are highly recommended but not required on STPPS school buses or campuses.

Recruitment and Retention Incentive Plan

STPPS has a new plan in place to attract and retain the best of the best in critical shortage areas. The plan offers new teachers and support employees, and current SWE teachers and support employees, supplemental pay that increases their compensation levels based on the salary schedule. This increase in pay offers these employees a higher salary throughout their entire careers.

Teach St. Tammany Alternative Teacher Certification

The St. Tammany Parish Public School System is planning a program that will allow college graduates and career experts to receive an alternative teaching certification through the new Teach St. Tammany program in the areas of math, science, English, or special education.
