In 1963 Lionel & Virginia Hayes opened the first Bahnhof Ski Shop. Located in the old train station in Petoskey Michigan, this tiny ski shop was the beginnings of Bahnhof Sport. Even in 1963 customers appreciated the concept of a Specialty Sports Shop. Today Bahnhof Sport is owned and operated by Lionel & Virginia’s daughter Lindy and her son Ryan. When you are in the stores there’s a good chance you will see one of them.
