DALIMSS, NTPC Tanda is an independent Co-educational Senior Secondary School, affiliated to the C.B.S.E., New Delhi with well planned and well designed infrastructure, and experienced staff. It is being run under a Government Registered Educational Society in the name and style of Dr. Amrit Lal Ishrat Memorial Sunbeam School Society.

It is set-up in the year 2011 to cater to the needs of the NTPC and its allied employees in general and the student community of the sub-urban areas of Tanda, a small sub-division in the Ambedkar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh.
