Many families in our society aren’t able to make their ends meet because their only male member has either died or is very ill or physically disabled or we also have some households in valley where the male head is working for his family but his income/wages aren’t enough to fulfill the basic needs of the family.

We, by the grace of Allah (SWT), at Parveen Iftikhar Trust Ltd. identify such families and register them with us. We register the families with us after verifying them by sending a team of 2 male people who make sure that only deserving people get the resources. The verification is done in two steps

An on-spot verification is done by our team.

The president of the village/town or the Imam Sahib of the local Masjid is consulted, who gives the information about a particular family’s conditions to our team.

After verification, Parveen Iftikhar Trust Ltd. helps such families by providing them the necessary items every month. These items include the basic food items such as Rice, FLour, Spices, Sugar, Cooking Oil, Tea and other necessities. In the present world where heinous crimes are committed everyday for livelihood, Parveen Iftikhar Trust Ltd. strives with the aim to help people to meet their basic needs and stop them from committing any indecent/immoral act for livelihood.

The causes of poor health are deeply rooted in poverty and at the same time, poverty is a major consequence of poor health. Trapped in the middle of this vicious cycle are the most vulnerable communities.

The poorest communities live in the worst conditions where the lack of adequate sanitation and clean water puts their lives at risk. Adding to this, further factors that majorly contribute to ill health: hunger, malnutrition, Malaria and above all poor access to decent healthcare service.

Aside from claiming the lives of millions, poor health causes other troubles around the world: ill children cannot attend school, and ill adults cannot work to support their families.

The detriment, in this case, is not only felt locally, but it is also felt globally as a result of an inefficient workforce. This also means that the provision of services such as healthcare cannot be ensured for many, thus perpetrating the cycle.
