About Us -

The Society strives for professional advancement and dissemination of knowledge about agriculture as well as rural development, environmental sustainability, natural resources and related areas of agricultural sciences, applied sciences and other related disciplines.

As a technical and educational organization, SADAS is a leading source of information for and about professionals worldwide who advance agricultural, food, and biological systems through innovative engineering, technology and rural development.

In addition to being a resource for technical information, SADAS strives to keep members informed of policy and legislative issues affecting their professional interests. In turn, the deep expertise of SADAS members forms the foundation of Society commentary and position statements critical to the development of sound public policy and legislation.

Mission -

To provide opportunities to the members to engaged themselves in collaborative research, educate farmers and work together to solve ground level issues related to Agriculture and Applied Science.

To conduct International Conferences, Symposia, Discussions and Meetings on Agriculture and all alied sectors of Agriculture and discuss the current issues and challenges.

To publish a Bulletins, Reports, Books and Newsletters, as decided from time to time, for the advancement of the aims of the Association.

To undertake any activity that directly or indirectly serves the cause of the Society.

To recognize and felicitate the field Researchers, Entrepreneurs, Organizations and Individuals working in the Agriculture and Applied Sciences sector.

Vision -

To serve as a bridge to promote the research and innovations in all allied sector s of Agriculture and Applied Sciences.

To encourage the members and provide the opportunities to promote the innovations, exchange knowledge, collaborate and coordinate with various societies ‘associations to serve the fanners.

To provide a unified platform that enables the interchange of ideas, innovations, information and views between the stakeholders towards sustainable use of Agriculture & technology.

To promote sustainable development of agriculture, forestry’, animal husbandry, poultry, aquaculture and rural development.

To raise the standard of the rural economy based on increased production by the Application technology in Agriculture

To make an earnest effort to educate and empower farmers, rural women, youth. & agriculture labor’s for better livelihood and socio-economic security.

To establish a liaison between scientists of National/International repute, potential stakeholders for developing and promoting user for eco-friendly technologies in Agriculture

To secure, accept and manage funds, grants, donations, endowments etc. from Government / National or International bodies/other organizations and individuals for the award of scholarships, research grants, prizes etc. to promote agricultural research and innovations.

The organization will call for Professional Awards every year towards the contribution of agricultural and allied sciences for the betterment of farming community  through  various  scientific  research  /  research  activities  /  Project Development / New invention etc. and to award them for their outstanding contribution in the areas of Agriculture and Rural Development by Researcher/Scientist/ students/ any other professionals.
