Customer Profiles

An Off-the-Grid Cabin Owner

A client building a cabin on a remote pond in Maine started working with us a year before the cabin was built. We have supplied most of the cabin’s core furniture including hickory and peeled-pole dressers, Old Hickory beds, seating, side tables and lighting, as well as wall decor such as framed pictorial camp pillow covers.

He shops in person at our Gallery.

A Keen Collecting Couple

Two passionate collectors who are also avid anglers especially love artwork depicting trout and salmon. They also collect northeastern woodlands Native American art, much of which they display in their primary home. Their seasonal home is furnished with rustic furniture, as well as decorative accessories including colorful hooked rugs, animal carvings, vintage signs and canoe models.

They shop via Wish List offerings.

An Adirondack Aficionado

Stowe-room-screen-2T.jpg

We have known this longtime Adirondack resident for over 20 years during which time she has built several camps in a Great Camp complex. Having furnished the guest house and an older main camp on the property, she started buying Adirondack antiques for a new main lodge and living quarters ten years before it was built so that it could be fully furnished upon completion.

She continues to shop our New Finds.

Kudos from Clients

Thank you so much for the hickory bed which arrived on Thursday. I know I can always buy with confidence from Cherry Gallery.

I’ve bought a number of items from Cherry Gallery over the years and have never been disappointed. They have a great eye for quality, rare items, and are a pleasure to deal with. Every item I’ve purchased—from furniture, pottery, Navajo weavings and accessories—has always arrived carefully wrapped and in perfect condition.
— Mountain cabin owner in California
You know exactly what I like and always manage to find unique, quality things for me. Your item descriptions are thorough and accurate, and I appreciate your honesty. I look forward to your website updates each month and sit at my computer at the scheduled time just waiting for the new selections to appear. I plan to be a customer for years to come!
— Home owner in rural North Carolina
I’ve been meaning to write to let you know that I’m beyond pleased with the Old Hickory coffee table! It looks stunning in our living room and may well be my favorite piece of hickory so far. My toddler also loves the child’s canoe paddle. We haven’t had a chance to hang it yet, but he thinks that is just fine because he is enjoying ‘pretend’ canoe trips right now :).
— Home owner in Ohio
The two of you are THE best business people that we have met in the antiques business. Keep up the good work.
