Welcome to Coleman's Hatch Horticultural Society's website.....

The Coleman's Hatch Horticultural Society is a local society which enjoys affiliation to the Royal Horticultural Society. We are a small group but we have big aims! This year, we are aiming to spread the news of our work even further and encourage more and more residents from the area to get involved.

We are busy preparing for our next event, theAutumn Show (September 30th). This will be the opportunity for visitors to enjoy a great day with us at the Trinity Hall. Vegetable growers, bakers, amateur photographers, flower arrangers, to name but a few, enter into (friendly!!) competition with each other.

Our successful Open Gardens 2023

What a lovely weekend everyone had, visiting 8 gardens which had been kindly made available to the public by some of our residents. We have a wonderful gallery which gives an insight into what delights we found. Thanks to the committee, to the volunteers who did a great job with refreshments or marshalling and of course, to everyone who came along.

Jenny Lynne has composed a poem which we are delighted to share with you. This is found on the Events page.

Goodbye to Margaret Allday

Margaret recently passed away and we have her very much in our thoughts. Margaret played a huge part in the development and work of the society, most recently looking after the accounts and finance for us. We were all saddened by her recent passing and would like to express our condolences, but also our enduring gratitude, to her family and friends.
