I have never been a brand-conscious person. Since I was born and bought up in a middle-class family, I admit that I never even had the luxury of exploring or wearing branded clothes daily. However, once I entered my twenties and started going to college as well as working side by side, my mindset and opinions changed.

Meeting mature people and having a real conversation about life, clothing and branding was another topic everyone used to discuss. From what I gathered, I understood that it is not so much about the brand as much as it is about the quality. Quality speaks volumes and gives us the needed confidence. Believe it or not, good-quality clothes can only be found in stores that are branded.

When I bought clothes from a local market, I started noticing that even though they were inexpensive, they did have poor quality or fabric issues. This is when I tried an online store, Farfetch. I could see the difference between shopping from local markets and purchasing from Farfetch. Since Farfetch has a refund and returns policy, I had no fear of getting my money wasted. Two years back, I started earning a stable income. I have always wanted to save for a better future and so, I still take pocket money from my parents and spend it like it’s the only money I have. Some offers and deals will make it possible for me to grab good ones for my wardrobe. The next time I went shopping, I decided to shop from reputed brands since they will last longer too. Moreover, all professionals here would relate that good clothes are mandatory for the office to maintain a good image amongst the team.


For now, my priority was to buy some clothes for the sports buff in me. I read more than hundreds of reviews and checked price lists for so many brands. Every site that I visited was very time-consuming and nothing spoke to my style. As recommended by a friend, I decided to shop from Sports Direct. Shopping for sports gear and other accessories from Sports Direct was one of the best decisions I have ever made! With Sports Direct, I don’t have to worry about the quality of the products at all. I was so relieved after coming across Sports Direct. Now, I don’t have to browse my way through various sites to get my hands on one perfect pair of shoes or swimming trunks! Now, when it comes to shopping for daily wear, I have always been very picky. From formal clothes for office to casual college wear, we all are aware that there are numerous brands which we can try out. However, not everyone has the kind of budget they can experiment with new brands. For instance, I try to stick with my trusted list of brands. I only try out new ones when I get my heart stuck on something. Even before purchasing what my heart is stuck on, I check if I can get anything similar from my favourite and trusted brands like Mango, Superdry and stores like NA-KD which all have a commendable collection.

You must be wondering why I keep mentioning the same set of brands. Let me make it clear that I have given most clothing brands a try. I don’t deny that they are great at what they are selling. However, the quality and the customer services of stores like Mango and NA-KD are to die for. I am not a person who can shop from anywhere. I have turned into a very selective person in terms of brands and a few brands like Mango and stores like NA-KD are my go-to ones. I can buy from them without hesitating. Size issue, perfect fitting, comfort level in fabric, and top-notch quality are some factors that I hesitate regarding when it comes to spending money on any other brands.

Now that I have told you why I do not prefer any other brands, let me tell you why I have only preferred Mango and NA-KD for the last 2 years. Firstly, I have never faced any quality-based, or colour fading issues. Even a basic tee works well in terms of quality and fabric. When it comes to bottom wear, most of the time I have heard my friends complaining about their pieces of denim getting faded or loose after multiple washes. Even hearing such issues from my friends makes me wonder if trying out other brands is even worth it. If I end up getting into such situations, my budget is never going to allow me to shop for the same wear twice!

Luckily, shopping from Mango has never landed me in such situations. For instance, the sizes and fittings are always as desired and accurate according to my preferred style. Specifically for upper wear, girls like variety for every season and place they visit. Same denim for bottom wear can work but the upper wear needs to be different and unique for a complete and proper look. Do not get me wrong. I am not saying that only my trusted brands are the perfect ones. However, take it from someone who knows the struggle and effort that goes into shopping – Mango and NA-KD will never disappoint you or make you feel like you need to change your preference of the clothing brand.

If you are looking to not just buy clothes, then Mango is known and trusted for its wide collection of home necessities and decor items too. My house has its fair share of kitchen appliances from it. As expected, the quality of each item is amazing and the shine won’t fade away like the other times when I bought items from other brands. The other great thing about household accessories from Mango is the range of colours they come in. Whenever people come over to my house now, they always ask about these items. It amazes them how the quality of these accessories can be so good!

Recently, I went on a trip with my friends and I packed all the clothes I got from Mango and NA-KD with me. I believe that a big reason why the trip went so well was because of those clothes. I mean, it was perfectly comfortable in all my outfits and not for once felt awkward or out of place! The leather boots I got from NA-KD are so comfortable and it goes with almost everything. My personal favourite is to match them with the bootcut jeans I have got from Mango. It also adds glimmer to the party dress I got from NA-KD. Now I am always looking for an excuse to wear the boots. Unlike other leather boots, these don’t cut the edges of my feet. They are so comfy and trendy.

One another item that is my absolute favourite is a trendy coat from Mango. It is a beige colour trench coat and it is made of the best material there is. It keeps me warm in the cold harsh wind and feels like a breeze. It also has the element to go with jeans as well as dresses.

In case you have not already guessed it, Mango and NA-KD have become my favourite stores to shop from. Whenever I need to buy something for myself or someone else, I find myself running to these brands. From my family to my best friends, I have recommended these stores to everyone and the responses from them have been phenomenal!
